Training, competing, hard ground, injuries, strains, knocks and old age can all take their toll on horses’ joints. Pure Plus joint supplement is a joint supplement formulated to deliver four key ingredients to support joint health and can be fed to horses before problems occur or to horses already showing signs of joint wear and tear and or stiffness or unsoundness. As well as Chondroitin Sulphate Pure Plus joint supplement contains Glucosamine at the level shown to be required in scientific studies and which is one of the most extensively studied compounds in relation to joint health and is an important component of cartilage.
Pure Plus joint supplement also contains MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) which is a naturally occurring compound in nature, is rapidly absorbed into the blood stream and is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and a bioavailable form of Vitamin C which is required for the synthesis of collagen and which is the major soluble antioxidant in joint fluid. Together, Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulphate and MSM are involved in the formation of Proteoglycans which are key components of cartilage, joint lubricant and connective tissues such as ligament and tendon.
